OJAI WILD! A Creekside Barbeque to Benefit Los Padres ForestWatch

Los Padres ForestWatch, a local nonprofit organization working to protect the Los Padres National Forest, is excited to announce our Third Annual creekside barbeque in Ojai on Saturday afternoon, March 27, 2010. The event will take place at Thacher School's picturesque Diamond Hitch Camp at the base of the Los Padres National Forest.
The afternoon will feature appetizers, beer and wine followed by a gourmet barbeque supper under the oak trees. There will be live music, a pre-barbeque guided nature walks, and a presentation of the Wildnerness Legacy award to round off the afternoon.
The event will conclude with several unique and exciting auction items guaranteed to enhance your enjoyment of our region's wilderness landscapes.
All proceeds from the event will help Los Padres ForestWatch continue its work to protect wildlife habitat, outdoor recreation, and wilderness landscapes in the Los Padres National Forest.
Tickets are $75 for adults, $20 for children (14 years and younger), and a table for 8-10 guests may be reserved for $600. Call Los Padres ForestWatch at 805-617-4610 ext. 2 for your reservation.
